CPI-M’s 25 yrs Unemployment remai | AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Unemployment rate is further increasing in state with more graduates and HS passed outs in this year. Centre For Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd (CMIE) monthly report has once again topped Tripura with 22.8 %, which is not only highest in the country but also at least 6 % more than the second ranking state in unemployment Haryana 16.8 %. In the 3rd ranking it’s Jammu & Kashmir with 13.2 % whereas Himachal Pradesh comes with 11.8 % and Rajasthan with 10.1 %. Other states of India ranks below 9 % whereas Goa, Puducherry have no unemployment. This was the report of last 30 days according to CMIE. Tripura's top-ranking is however continuing from last few financial years. However, the ruling govt has alleged a total collapse of state economy in the last 20-30 years where govt job was kept as the single option for livelihood. ‘10323 Teachers case’s Nex | AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): The next hearing of much complicated 10323 teachers case is on July 18. Tripura Law Secretary Datamohon Jamatia after the first hearing on this case told TIWN from New Delhi that there was the first hearing of the case today in the Supreme Court, but seeing the backgrounds of the hearings, Supreme Court has postponed the final hearing till July 18. The Law Secretary also mentioned, "We told the Court to extend the ad-hoc up job continuation to 2020, June 30, but no final verdict was given today. Supreme Court has also postponed their termination up to the next hearing and their jobs are save. Now we have to wait till July 18 to know the final verdict". The Law Secretary further said that S the ad hoc is saved till the next hearing and THUS teachers will continue their jobs in their respective schools till then. Dais is being set for the historical programme which will be marked in the presence of Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on July 6. Although the train will be flagged off from Agartala on July 6, its regular service will begin from July 14. The train was one of BJP's pre-election assurances to assist thousands of devotees of Anukul Thakur to visit their holy place at Deoghar. A new weekly train from Agartala to Deoghar in Jharkhand will be flagged off on July 6 by Railways Minister Piyush Goyal. Although the train will be flagged off from Agartala on July 6, its regular service will begin from July 14. Tripura, Mizoram Govt sign historical pa | AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Reang refugee camp in Tripura will be closed from October and the proceeding of taking them back to Mizoram by the Govt of Mizoram will be started from September, in a historic deal Tripura-Mizoram Govt has agreed today. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Mizoram CM Lal Thanhawla in the presence of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh have marked the proceeding of Bru refugees return in Mizoram from October, 2018. In a meeting at New Delhi both the Northeast state’s Govts have exchanged the deal.On behalf of Tripura Govt, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan was present to sign the agreement. Addressing in a rally on Tuesday afternoon, Bijan Dhar said, “It was none other than Biplab Deb Govt’s cabinet Minister Ratan Lal Nath who was involved in spreading rumours and instigating violence, lynching across the state. We demand each and everyone were involved in those brutal crimes, should be arrested regardless their political identities either CPI-M or BJP, TMC, Congress, IPFT whoever it is. But till now only IPFT and BJP activists were arrestedâ€. On Tuesday one BJP MLA sponsored BMS conducted programme has horrified Tripura Medical College, Hospital on the peak duty hours. A source of Tripura Medical College has complained, as at present BJP MLA Dr. Atul Debbarma is the chairman of TMC, there was a felicitation programme organized for him in a grand manner, which was attended by BJP leaders. Education Minister rushes to Agartala pr | AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): In a move to upgrade Education quality and to spot loopholes in the infrastructure and teachers performance schools wide, Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has visited various schools in the capital city Agartala. The visit started from Bodhjung School, where the Education Minister expressed resentments as the Principal of the School was absent and also the infrastructure and facilities are not available. At the same time, mid day meal and water facility system were in bad shape and also the toilets were found unhygienic. The second visit was at Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School where the Minister spent huge times with students and also quizzed the students at there. However, the toilet facility in Shishu Bihar school also was not satisfying and the irregularities of teachers were spotted. The Minister also sat with the students and talked with them for long during his schools visit. Recently, there were similar visits made by Education Dept officials across the state. 10323 terminated Teachers Case’s | AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Tensions have gripped the 10323 teachers as the next hearing date is knocking SC. According Supreme Court’s verdict given on December 14, 2017 the ad hoc total-termination of Tripura’s terminated 10323 teachers has been ended today. Keeping today’s terminated in front, the BJP Govt recently again appealed in the Supreme Court for further extension of their jobs for next 2 years on ad-hoc basis.
