AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): 2017’s interview passed out total 1451 youths have once again demanded appointments of them as police constable who cracked the interviews in 2017.
The job aspirants said, the new recruitment policy is not applicable to them as their interviews were done in 2017.
The job aspirants came to meet Chief Minister Biplab Deb today but due to CM’s Delhi visit, they couldn’t meet him.
“The last Govt also did not help us. We meet the previous Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on that time. Even after assuring us to appoint us in police dept, over one year has been passed. We are now becoming overage. So demanding immediate appointment of us we have come here to meet the Chief Minister. This is the second time we are meeting the Chief Minister”, the job aspirants said.
The job aspirants earlier said that many of them during the interview in 2017 had skipped College exams to join police dept.
