Devotees amidst cold weather, came to Matabari at 5 AM, took holy baths and offered prayers to Devi Tripura Sundari, who is believed as the ultimate source of power and since decades is saving the state from all evil eyes. Tripura is however widely known outside the state, for this particular temple. People believe that Goddess here is very powerful and has spread her blessing all over the nation. The ‘darshan’ place was ever-crowded during the whole day. People came and had “darshan†of Mata Tripureswari and lighted candles inside the temple.
