AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): Even though the termination letters were burnt by Supreme Court led 10323 terminated teachers, but in reality their jobs no more exist and they have already lost their jobs. In this condition, even BJP is claiming to change a part of law 'only for Tripura' to save the teachers jobs, but question is how after the termination is already done the verdict can be modified ? 31st December is the last date of 10323 teachers GT, UGT, PGT jobs but the terminated teachers are yet unready to accept that the their jobs are gone 'actually'. While burning the termination letters, one teacher said, "Our Honourable Chief Minister said once if necessary, I will go to jail but will not allow your termination letters to come. But he has escaped from his promise giving us termination letters. Today, burning these termination papers we have exposed the dark face of CM behind his promise".

But yesterday BJP President Biplab Deb also said that 10323 teachers have lost their jobs today, when CPI-M was celebrating at Astabal. In this condition, when already 31st December is crossed, how can BJP help the teachers, it has raised questions.

MLA Sudip Roy Barman has been accused by 10323 teachers for snatching their jobs since the beginning as through various press conferences the MLA was exposing recruitment scams of the CPI-M Govt time to time which led the 58 youths to file cases in the High Court against the illegal recruitment of 10323 teachers under Tripura Education Dept. Since the case was filed in HC in 2010 it was alleged that only Sudip Roy Barman is responsible for their jobs termination, but now the 10323 teachers are going to New Delhi to meet the HRD Minister demanding their jobs consideration.

It was said that a representative of 10323 teachers with BJP leaders led by Sudip Barman, Biplab Deb, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav and Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are going in 10323 missions.  Right now around 9,400 teachers are facing crisis situation and other teachers have been appointed through TET exams.

If Politically seen, at the end, BJP has successfully won the vote banks of 10323 teachers, giving a major jolt to the ruling CPI-M.

10323 teachers who were busy with Manik-Bhajanas, today they have slammed the same Chief Minister preferring to send him in jail.Tripura's 10323 terminated teachers will go to New Delhi and meet the MHRD Minister Prakash Yavedkar in demand of their jobs back led by State BJP and National leaders.

The teachers said that in similar manner jobs of teachers were also saved at Assam by changing a part of the law ! However, the teachers are happy and happily burnt their termination letters after the meeting was ended at Hindi H S School in the afternoon.

On December 27, total 8662 teachers received terminated among 10323 teachers. 4150 teachers have been terminated under primary basis, GT 3740, PGT 772. Other teachers have already gotten jobs through TET Examination. But today, SC verdict led Tripura's 10323teachers have burnt their termination letters after a meeting held among them, which were circulated by the Tripura Govt recently after SC's order.

Noteworthy, after 10323 teachers case raised in HC in 2010, a division bench of the high court, comprising Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice Swapan Chandra Das, had passed then order May 7, 2014 terminating the jobs of 10,323 school teachers after Dec 31, citing irregularities in recruitment and SC has upheld High Court's 2014 verdict.

However, HC had given an excellent option to save 10323 teachers jobs by appointing the petitioners who filed case against the job after being deprived due to job recruitment scam.

But instead of accepting the guilt, CPI-M Govt continued to fool 10323 teachers and appealed in SC by collecting hefty amounts of fees from them for SC's case.

But on March 29, 2017 they lost the case in SC too as SC upheld Tripura High Court's decision. Supreme Court in a humanaitarian gesture to 10323 teachers mentioned that the teachers will continue their jobs till 2017, 31st Dec.

After that State Govt appealed at SC for revision of the judgment and again the state govt lost the case on Dec 14, 2017 but SC asked Tripura Govt if it wants 10323 teachers can be appointed on ad hoc basis to diminish teachers crisis in the middle of the session, just maximum for 6 months and finally termination letters were served to teachers.
