AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): The anti-nationalist face of CPI-M is exposing everyday here in Tripura under Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, who in poll-season is unable to utter anything except talks about 80’s riot and NLFT, IPFT. Reacting over CM’s restriction imposed upon Tripura's two top officials Chief Secretary and the DGP from meeting the Governor, who were summoned by the Governor to talk on law and order issues, BJP has called CM as Pak, China agents. Terming Tripura is undergoing ‘constitutional crisis’, opposition MLA Ratan Lal Nath said, “Such a peculiar party is CPI-M, could never learn to respect the nation. In this condition what can we call the Chief Minister better than spy of China and Pakistan ?”

"Tripura is undergoing a total constitutional crisis situation and the Chief Minister is  acting just like spy of Pakistan and China. As per the constitution Chief Minister is bound to answer the Governor", said Nath."Manik Sarkar is not a Chief Minister of an independent state. He is also ruled under the federal structure. According to the law under section 265, 257, 355 he is bound to obey the Governor or it comes under unconstitutional activity", said Nath.

MLA Ratan lal Nath raised question, “Why the Chief Secretary and DGP went to meet the Chief Minister after Governor ordered anything. Governor is the head of Police Dept. Administration and Judiciaries. When Governor calls them, they are bound to follow his orders”.

However, both DGP and the Chief Secretary is silent over the issue. Governor Tathagata Roy also has not leaked any of his administration’s issue.

On 31st January, after Left's gathering at Astabal Stadium, BJP State President once again has called CPI-M as anti-nationalists, while addressing in a press meet. Hitting the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Biplab Deb said, "Just to establish the peace-word behind CPI-M violence, CM once again has inspired his cadres to continue pre-poll-violence. The people who can say that Rs 25,000 crores of pact among EC and the BJP Govt has been done, they must be sent to Pakistan".

Another issue also has recently came, when BJP reacted over Brinda Karat’s anti-nationalist writing in Tripura CPI-M’s pre-election book, where she claimed PMO has direct links with terrorists.

Brinda Karat has written in this book that Indian Prime Minister Office has direct connection with Terrorists, which has put CPI-M under own trap for extremist talks. However, the CPI-M leader's writing raised the finger against IPFT's link with PMO just because IPFT had placed a deputation to PMO, but IPFT is a political party and so what exactly CPI-M wanted to say it's not clear. Addressing a press meet, BJP State President Biplab Deb said, "India is a democratic country but it doesn't give any license to political parties to spread anti-national poisons. No political party could dare till day to make such remark that Indian Prime Minister's office has direct link with terrorists. The sealing of the book is urgently needed and what BJP will politically and officially do it will come later. Both the writer Brinda Karat and the publisher Haripada Das must be arrested right now".

With all these, the opposition  BJP has graded Manik Sarkar as Pakistan’s agent.
