AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): With a shocking revelation, it has disclosed the illegal activities held under TSECL that killed 21 person in last 5 years, who were forced to do dangerous works without training. When it comes about salary, pension TSECL employees are one of the highest deprivers but in case of life’s security TSECL employees are used very badly my Tripura power dept. Earlier, Nirvoy (A social / Apolitical group led by Dr. Ashok Sinha) had ddemanded for the compensation to the killed and injured persons under TSECL via Extraordinary pension that is their right as per Pension-law under Central Civil Service's No 4 article, but nothing was given by the state govt. Atleast 21 persons had died under Power Dept of Tripura in last 5 years, with 52 more people were injured in various times. But in return nothing the left front govt has given them except death and physical injuries.
Recently Ashok Sinha added, "Few inhuman decisions of the power corporation has surprised us. Three persons of the deceased were linemen; whereas other 18 were helpers. But due to lack of live overhead line workers, illegally the helpers were pushed to do those dangerous works led those innocent 18 deaths".
Sinha also mentioned such activities comes under IPC 303 Culpable Homicide amounting to murder.
But after all these and first 5 years of compromising their lives with fixed paid salaries, the workers were gifted with tragic deaths !
The 52 injured persons also deserve 'extraordinary pension', but state govt has deprived them too.
Demand has raised for proper compensation as per rule as well as pensions for them.
