AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty has become unreachable to unemployed agitators of the state. Since continuous 4 days the B.Ed undergoing students are almost running after Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty to beg certain demands from him which is related to their career. But like an 'eclipse' Chakraborty is behaving and holding the issue with a almost showing a traffic Yellow signal, neither Red nor Green. In this condition, the resented B.Ed undergoing students once again gheraoed Tapan Chakraborty's house on Friday, unready to go till the minister meets them. Once Minister meets the students they will request to extend the date of application filling up for 14,000 teachers posts (recently released with SC's order following the cancellation of 10,323 teachers jobs due to recruitment policy violation by Tripura Govt) till July 31st, so that the final year students can also apply for teachers jobs against such a huge number of vacancies.

It was on May-29 first that the Undergoing B.Ed students demanded date extension for the application filling up. Tripura's ongoing fresh B.Ed students just for few months of gap in between their College result out and the Govt's TET interview form submission's last date would not be able to sit in the interview, but being worried about whether in coming future such a huge job advertisement would be published by Tripura Govt, the agitated ongoing B.Ed candidates gheraoed Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty's house on May-29. But they failed to meet the Education Minister.

The next protest was held on yesterday that amidst heavy rainfall in the morning, the B.Ed undergoing unemployed youths in demand of permission to sit in upcoming TET Examination for 14,000 posts have been gheraoed Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty’s residence. But unfortunately Tapan Chakraborty went out to attend few programmes at Kailashahar.

On the same day after B.Ed undergoing students failed to meet the Education Minister in the morning at his residence, the agitators gheraoed Higher Education Office and locked the main gate. Sadar SDM S. Choudhury tried to manage the situation asking the students to hold peace but the agitators were unready to unlock the gate unless their demands are fulfilled that created a massive chaos infront of Higher Education Office.

However, on Friday once again the B.Ed candidates gheraoed Tapan Chakraborty's residence since morning but later  at 11.30 AM ant three of them were called in Secretariat to meet the Minister. Now the whole thing depends upon what the Minister tells them.
