AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): As Tipra Motha party kicked off a rally at Astabal stadium, party Supremo Pradyot Debbarman appealed for unity amongst the indigenous people. The party leader however stated, because they are calling for indigenous people’s unity, it does not mean they are against anyone.

“We can be against Pakistan or Bangladesh. But we are not against anyone here. We are against even any Indian party,” he said.

“This is just the beginning and in the coming days, there will be more in the coming days,” he added.

The party leader also stated that the participants faced troubles in reaching the rally due to severe artificial blockades being created including stopping the train.
