AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Central IT Minister Prem Prakash Chaudhury during his 2 day visit here in Agartala said that in the robust IT growth witnessed in India in last few years the maximum contributions have been from Europe and 80 % of it from America. Unfolding the strategy of IT development led by Modi Govt, Chaudhury said, "It was in 2014 that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visualized that the unemployment problem will be never possible to diminish if we can not grow IT in our country. The global relation with European countries and other foreign countries are also a part to develop IT in India with diplomatic economic ties and export of software talents who are working in that country and contributing from there".

"The contribution of India's IT industry to economic progress has been quite significant. The rapidly expanding socio-economic infrastructure has proved to be of great use in supporting the growth of Indian information technology industry", Minister added.

P P Choudhury also  mentioned on Tuesday in Bhagat Singh Hostel during STPI inauguration that financial efforts by American companies to Indian Engineers are also helping in robust growth of software mechanism. 'Like that to build a New India, we have to upgrade the young generation with not only up to date technological knowledge but we have to come over the global challenges with continuous technological research, development. Discovery of new technology is very important & time has come to build up the generation with IT power".

"Technology keeps on changing ! We can not sit years after years with a same project as after new technology comes, the old projects to remain as incomplete without any utilization. This is a world of high competition", said the Minister.

"Govt of India is trying to build a New India. So, within 2018, December we must be able to spread the internet network at Gram Panchayat level and all the villagers will be connected by Wi-Fi   & this is PM Modi's New India's vision", added the Minister.

CPI-M's false propaganda against USA's 'capitalism' once again exposed as America's contribution to India's IT sector helped Indian economy.
