KAMALPUR, Oct 15 (TIWN): Condemning the attack on the BJP State President at his own residence last night by some miscreants and demanding strong action against those miscreants, hundreds of BJP supporters and leaders stirred the road here at Ambassa from Ambassa Mondal Committee here today. The protest rally started from the party office around 12-30 pm and roamed the entire Ambassa Municipal area.

Ambassa Mondal leader Gopal Sutradhar, BJP District leader Uttam Adhikari, Mridul Dutta and others took part in the rally. From the protest rally, it was demanded that, the attack was a pre-planned game of CPI-M.

At the same time the rally raised the slogan of demanding stringent action from the part of the administration to punish the miscreants. The leaders assured to launch more vehement protest campaign if the administration not adopted any measure at the earliest.

It might be mentioned here that, last night BJP State President Biplab Deb was attacked by some miscreants at his own residence at Natunpalli and the miscreants vandalized his house, brutally beat his driver and at last police had to reach the spot to control the situation.

In this context, BJP organized protest rallies at different parts of the state through Mandol Committees. But, BJP Kamalpur Mondal Committee remained silent so-far in the issue.
