KAILASHAHAR, April 29 (TIWN): Slamming power minister Ratan Lal Nath, public in Kailashahar agitated seeking relief from powercut problems. Reportedly, Kailashahar’s major area is cut off power connectivity triggering resentment among the people leading them to block roads and stage protests in front of the power office. Resented public attacked the office and vandalized the front office area. This incident triggered tension inside the office premise.
An agitated person said, “Last time when we talked to the power minister, he assured that our problems would be solved and by noon power would be returned but now it’s almost 36 hours, and the power connection is yet to be restored. This helpless situation amid scorching summer has forced us to protest.”
The agitators blamed the private company which is distributing power in the state for failing to provide services to the people.
