AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Tripura’s festive season remained cheerful as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh didn’t bother to reply to the ‘separate state’ letter sent a month back by Tipraland State Party (TSP) members demanding separate State Tripraland. To hide themselves from negative image of former terrorists ATTF, NLFT members, TSP claimed that its not associated with IPFT, during a press meet at Agartala Press CLub. It’s worthy to mention here that few disgruntled groups from Tribal Community in Tripura (Not All Tribals) are seeking for a separate land by playing divisive politics and trying to pollute the mind of young generations including Bengali and Tribals, resulting many unnecessary clashes across Tripura. For example on 23rd August, Tipra Land agitation rally turned Agartala a war zone of violence. But surprising matter is that in any clashes the main leaders of any party never get injuries, it’s the common people Tribals in rally and Bengalees on road were the victims.IPFT was enough as a threat to peace & harmony of Tripura, now this newly emerged TSP has started another similar drama.

But Tripura's long harmonious good side is that, till date in Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hostels even outside the state, in many institutions,  the Tribal and Bengali students, youths are found living like brothers and sisters---which proves that  even though few leaders claiming Tipraland, Twipraland  slogans to score their personal political goals, but all are meaningless as educated people are considered themselves as Indians !

In a press meet held at Agartala Press Club on Friday the TSP members led by President of TSP Chittaranjan Debbarma & Vice-President Sonacharan Debbarma told media that demanding for a separate Tipraland total 120 people are going to Delhi, where they will sit in mass-demonstration at Jantar Mantar. They will hold the mass demonstration for 2 day long (from Oct 26-27).Their journey will began via Sampark Kranti Express on 24th Oct afternoon.

Addressing the press meet Chittaranjan Debbarma said, “Before 1 month we wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of India and also to the Home Minister about our demands, but till day we have not received any reply to our letter. We will try to meet them during our protest”.

“We have no link with IPFT, we are leading a protest with a separate land demand, knowing fully well the reason behind how tribals became the minority in Tripura”, said Debbarma.

However, it’s worthy to mention here that Tripura has 37 lakhs of population & how far the TSP’s only 120 members’ demand will get any value at Jantar Mantar or whether they can meet the PM or not it’s to be seen.
