AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): On the one hand Tripura’s CM Manik Sarkar once claimed that Tripura has achieved the first position in literacy with 94.65 percent, beating Kerala (93.91 percent), and the so called highest literate state is hit with crippled education and evaluation system under the surveillance of CM Manik Sarkar and Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty.

Reportedly, Just within few hours of the declaration of the TBSE HS (+2) few days back, the students received a major shock when the board declared the results invalid as the practical number of the subjects were not added in the results sheet. It is to be mentioned here that TBSE Board President Prof. Mihir Deb declared the TBSE Result for class 12th science on 21st May through a press communiqué but just within a few hours of declaration of results the results were declared invalid by the board which has given shock tremors to the students. After declaring the results in the morning TBSE board president has released a notice that the provisional results of science stream of HS (+2) stage examination uploaded in the website does not show the marks of the practical projects, and there are some mistakes as well.

However, when the entire students sections is facing a tough time with their future Education Minister is seen nowhere in the scenario in taking any initiative for solving the problem of the students. However, it is to be mentioned here that the government is busy in opening school but no intervention in the name of education provided to the students.

Whereas on the one hand central govt. is expecting that every state’s students are being provided with Quality Education on the other hand the ‘Quality Education’ is a distant dream for the students in Tripura rural schools.

Tripura’s maximum rural area based schools are suffering due to lack of teachers, insufficient infrastructure, poor mid-day-meal and above all studies in those schools are for name-sake.

The highest literacy rated state Tripura’s pathetic condition in Education system has put a question mark about the real utilization of ‘Right To Education’ in all over the country.

However, it’s to be mentioned here that behind the cause of such poor quality’s education, reasons are many among them the 3 biggest scams held in Tripura Education Department can be mentioned, which flaunts Tripura’s Education Quality.

CM-CS book scam, 10,323 teacher-recruitment scam, the latest Mid-day-meal scams has hit the education system are the 3 scams which hit the Education system of Tripura.
