Tripura CPI-M Demands Peace in Palestine amid 'Ceasefire'

AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Days after a ceasefire agreement was signed between Israel and Hamas terrorist organization to establish peace in Palestine, ending the two-year-long war between Israel and Hamas, Tripura CPI-M launched a protest in Agartala on Friday, demanding peace in Palestine.
Right now, amid the ceasefire, Hamas is fighting with other Palestinian groups to capture power violating the ceasefire deal’s crucial point which was “disarming” Hamas. The US is pressuring Hamas to follow the agreement.
However, CPI-M in Tripura held a protest as a part of its habit of blaming Israel for everything.
The rally was participated by former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, who was seen walking with ex-MP Shankar Prasad Datta.
