Power Solution for Bishalgarh Residents: 132 KV Sub-Station Inaugurated

AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): In a significant development, the 132 KV power substation was inaugurated in Gokulnagar, Bishalgarh, by State Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath. This project, which cost Rs 40.18 crore, will benefit around 49,000 families in Bilashgarh, Golaghati, Kamalasagar, Surymaninagar, and other areas.
The substation's construction was delayed due to pending approvals from the railway department. However, after a meeting between the Power Minister and local MLA Sushanta Deb, the necessary permissions were obtained, paving the way for the project's completion.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister Ratan Lal Nath, MLA Antara Sarkar Deb, and other dignitaries. With this development, the power crisis in Bishalgarh and surrounding areas is expected to be resolved, bringing relief to thousands of residents.
