AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday visited Agartala, Banamalipur located Bhuturia Power Office and checked the situation. Talking to media, Ratan Lal Nath said that he thinks power disruption issue has been extremely minimized. “I have been visiting power stations and also checked with the Call Centers. The flow of complaints in call centers have actually heavily decreased. Earlier the complaints were huge but now it has decreased and it shows that power cut issues are now resolved a lot”, said Ratan Lal Nath.
Ratan Lal Nath also said that the consumers must inform the power depart about the power load they are using and if they do not do so, then it will be a problem for TSECL to understand how much power is needed.
“Tripura is power surplus but it has to be transparent. I have been requesting the consumers, club members to inform the power department about their uses and to make sure nobody steals electricity by using hooklines”, said Ratan Lal Nath.
