AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Electronics & IT, Govt. of India while talking to the journalists in Tripura on Tuesday, sounded like a corporate leader and simply stated without digital knowledge none can get a job in this competitive world. He also mentioned out of four youths in India, three are unskilled without leaving the opportunity to blame the former Congress Govt's 65 years, whereas in reality in Degrees colleges and universities of India there is no digital touch yet.
Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, that only degrees are not enough.
He also mentioned that IBM like companies to Boost India’s AI, Semiconductor, and Quantum Computing Research in India. However, there was no clue, how can unskilled youth of the nation connect to these terms ?
Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, that’s why Modi Govt has launched schemes to Educate the generation and Tripura youth also to be trained to become skilled and digitally advanced.
“This is rumour that only Engineers need technological skills. All fields, including language, need such skills”, said Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
Amid all these barriers, however, Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik claimed that Tripura soon will become an IT hub.
