AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Gomati Diary Chairman cum BJP leader Samir Das raped a woman last year Dec and later his nephew after noticing the incident raped her by threatening. Later when the victim woman visited to Lefunga PS to file a case, but the case was not filed. Later, she moved to Court to file case. Raising this incident, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman will send a letter to PM Modi for Ratan Lal Nath's patronizing of the criminals.

Barman alleged that Ratan Lal Nath sheltering the criminals and said, “Ratan Babu’s team threatening the victim woman to withdraw the case and Police till last night did not registered case, may be under Court’s pressure the case will be registered”

Barman said that Police are also under pressure as the case was not filed at the right time.

Barman said, Ratan Lal Nath who is holding a position is now involved with various heinous crimes. He also said where the Govt. voices for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Women Empowerment there Ratan Lal Nath is helping criminals.
