AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman who played the lead role in 2018 Election to convert Congress vote banks into BJP to establish the first ever BJP Govt in Tripura is carrying a bitter relation with CM Biplab Deb which is beyond repair now. Barman who was holding the Portfolio of Health, Science & Technology Dept was sacked from Ministry by Biplab Deb and Ram Madhav in 2019 and since then Sudip Barman also has faced various FIRs, political decentralization, groupism against him. However, Barman is not a single in the group who demanded a replacement of Biplab Deb but at a time, majority of the BJP MLAs were reported against CM Biplab Deb. Today a meeting was held led by 5 BJP MLAs Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Saha, Asish Das, Burbo Mohan Tripura, Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl.
As whispers in air that many BJP MLAs are joining Trinamool and Trinamool also claimed that over 14 MLAs already contacted Trinamool, media asked Sudip Barman to comment on the rumour.
However, Sudip Barman rubbished the claim and said, he has no idea about what Trinamool is saying but if any other leader of BJP, CPI-M had contacted Trinamool, he has nothing to say about it.
Sudip Barman also said, "Right now I am concerned about the present. Nothing can be said about the future".
He further took a dig at the Biplab Deb Govt saying, "All political parties have right to continue political works and so the ongoing violent attacks must be stopped".
However, Sudip Barman also mentioned, "No Govt can give 100% perfect law and order but yes, things can be always made better".
