AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): Amid much political pressure on Police, SDPO Sadar Ramesh Yadav's stern action against the ruling party members in the College campus has won netizens' hearts.
The SDPO has given a clear message to the unruly activists, saying, "Wherever law and order issue will erupt, police will reach there....".
Prime accused person of girl-abduction case of MBB College Raghu Lodh who held attacks on Police as well as Opposition and was behaving eccentrically, got a slap. However, Raghu did not come under control after that as he kept Trinamool leader Solanki Sengupta kidnapped inside the College common room.
When BJP members along with ABVP were forcing the girl to leave the College via backdoor, at that time Raghu Lodh was consuming the time by preventing police from entering the college in her search.
It was clearly evident that police were also under pressure and thus amid Solanki's mother's repeated plea, police initially were not entering the College but netizens have praised the SDPO for his stern actions.
The SDPO was specially praised by the netizens for advising Raghu to do some work outside the College instead of doing hooliganism inside the College campus.
