AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): District Magistrate, IAS Dr. Sailesh Yadav yesterday late-night who was returning from dedicated COVID hospital where in ICU patients were struggling with lives as the COVID cases in State have crossed 700. While returning from GB hospital after solving a technical issue in the ICU, the DM was shocked to see at such a time illegal marriage functions were going on where the groom himself reportedly has been a Doctor. When officials are working in late-night in COVID hospitals for patients' comfort on the other side, a section of public are selfishly enjoying their personal celebrations amid national emergency by violating protocols.

Yesterday's marriage function was also such an example. While raiding, police officials were allegedly not cooperating with the DM led him to accuse them for taking bribes from the party organizers. DM also suggested suspension of OC, West Agartala PS.
