AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): As 3 days long Lockdown has been now extended till 4th August, 5 AM, Police have continued checking of vehicles and goers. Apart from emergency services and essential commodities, the whole Tripura on Thursday remained paralyzed due to ‘Total Lockdown’. Lockdown in Tripura has started from Monday 5 AM to be continued till 4th August 5 AM. Govt and Police have requested the people to stay home as much as possible. Vehicle Services were crippled, but Govt’s emergency services like hospitals, ambulances remained open without any pause. Public gave massive response to the Lockdown and no gathering or crowd was seen at any corner. Today, from morning police were on duty to keep people in home and also many came under actions. With the Paralyzed Transport system on Thursday, vehicle movements were halted as restrictions are now imposed strictly for the "Total Lockdown".
