AGARTALA, May 31 (TIWN): In a serious note, it has been informed that total 34 new COVID-19 cases have been tested in Tripura.

All the positive cases are among Chennai returners.

“633 samples have been tested for #COVID19 in Tripura today, out of which 34 people found #POSITIVE. All of them have returned from Chennai”, tweeted CM.

On Saturday, more total of 798 samples were tested, out of which 17 were found positive for COVID19.

There is no report of any death in Tripura due to COVID19 infection while 3 cases migrated from the state.
