Goutam Das is a Rikshaw driver by profession. Despite of his less earning affected by lockdown, he used to save an amount of it and buy ration items to feed the poor people around him. 

 

On Sunday afternoon CM Biplab Deb invited him in Secretariat and felicitated him. He also ensured him to help economically in upcoming days.

 

CM Biplab Deb Said, "I congratulate Goutam Das for his big heart and kind nature. He sets example for many. The government will help him to continue his kind work further."

 

He also added,"We have indentified 12,000 poor people who are working as Rikshaw driver, Tomtom driver across the state, and we've decided to give them 1000 rupees from CM relief fund."

 

While many millionaires are sitting at there home and thinking only about their survival the pandemic, such persons like Goutam Das is setting example of kindness during this crucial time.
