AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has appealed to the masses to carry one Jal-Gamcha, if a person does not have mask amid massive Corona-Virus outbreak globally which has claimed already over 21,000 lives and 13 lives in India.
Carrying a local ‘Gamcha’ (a cotton towel) on his shoulders, CM showed how to use the 'Gamcha' as a mask.
Addressing media, Deb said, “Everyone has at least a Gamcha in his/her home. Make it neat and clean and then use it”.
“This is just a second’s work. It may take time to get the masks in Tripura but this should be urgently done.......today we have to take a promise of that”, said CM.
