UDAIPUR/AGARTALA, November 13 (TIWN): "In 2011 Assembly Election people of West Bengal expressed their resentment against Budhdhadeb Bhattacharya and his govt after continuous misrule for 34 years. And time is near when the 'Mask of Manik Sarkar' will be revealed to all," with these words Leader of Opposition cum MLA Sudip Roy Barman slamned the CPI(M) led Left Front Govt over the massive corruption that is now the headlines in most of local print and electronic media.

And mysteriously without taking any step to find out the truth and practically protecting the 'real lootera' cum comrade BDO Bimal Chakraborty, who is known for being a ' most favoured TCS officer of Manik Sarkar' . When the special Internal Audit Report(AIR) got leaked all the opposition parties came out strongly protesting against the Rs 50 crore MGNREGA scam. The situation came to such that even Congress filed a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) in the High Court Demanding CBI probe in the massive MGNREGA scam. And now to save the image of the party and Manik Sarkar CPI(M) leaders are putting the blames on Congress and a section of media. Protesting against all the corruption and misappropriation of Govt fund Congress has asked Civil Disobedience Movement on 17th November.

To make this a grand success Congress MLA cum Leader of Opposition Sudip Roy Barman visited Belonia and Udaipur and held meetings with leaders and workers on Wednesday. In the evening CLP leader Audio Roy Barman met the press in Udaipur District Congress Office. Speaking to the Press Sudip Roy Barman said," Wait for four months only. The days are not far when CPI(M) workers and leaders will spit on one another. Just have faith on Congress. 17th November will be historical day for Tripura when thousands and thousands of Congress workers will come out to the streets in protest against the state govt sponsored corruption. In other parts of the country web have witnessed that a few persons are involved in corruption. But in Tripura the govt itself is submerged in deep rooted corruption. And thus only CBI can bring out the truth before the people. On 24th November hearing on the PIL will be held in the High Court . All we can hope is that the verdict will come in favour of the people, for whom Central govt has been allocating crores of money under various centrally sponsored schemes."

Recently a storm of controversy has been surrounded in air regarding the careless and humiliating remark of ARDD Minister Aghore Debbarma. In the recently concluded state conference of State Engineers Association of Tripura (SEAT) Aghore Debbarma said," Smell of wine is now coming out from the mouths of many officials. And sometimes we are forced to press our handkerchief on our noses to prevent such bad smell. State employees these days are demanding for increase in pay scale. But whenever there is an increase in salary, long lines are visible in front of wine shops." This remark was made in a H B Road organ's programme and after this all employees feel that the minister has directly humiliated the govt employees in general violating the minimum social values. An engineer present on that programme held in Agartala Town Hall told TIWN," This is a sheer violation of human rights. We are really very unfortunate that in a state where the govt employees are getting the lowest pay scale in the country, a minister is speaking in such slang words that are quite irrelivant in civilized world "

Speaking about the ongoing deprivation being imposed by state govt against the govt employees Sudip Roy Barman said," To remove the sheer deprivation of govt employees in regard to their salaries, Congress will soon approach the High Court appealing to pass orders. And this govt is just counting its days. People will sure find the difference between the face and mask of so called Chief Minister Manik Sarkar."
