After a Cabinet meeting, addressing media Ratanlal Nath said, "The present Govt of Tripura is very much concerned about 10323 teachers. Appointing the teachers in various depts as per eligibility is the only option to deal with the present situation except appointing in technical Group-C and Group-D posts like Anganwadi Supervisor, Lower Div Clerck, Panchayat Secretary, Agri-Assistant, Store Keeper, Fishery Assistants, there are  10,661 posts vacant. IL petition to be filled in Supreme Court to permit Tripura Govt to appoint the teachers whose terminations will be on 31st March", Ratanlal Nath told media.
