Congress calls CPI-M backed 12 hours Strike: BJP Govt warns against Strike

AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Amid BJP Govt's strict objection against strike-culture, Tripura Congress is determine to participate in national level agitation against the increasing fuel price under the Mod Govt.

In the evening of Saturday Congress women activists have marched a protest rally voicing against fuel price hike.

CPI-M's youth wing DYFI activists also have come in massive protest on Saturday voicing against the increasing petrol, diesel, LPG prices across India under BJP-govt, affecting Tripura's economy each day.  

On Saturday in Agartala petrol price is : 78.83 rupees, whereas diesel price is : 72.66 rupees. At the same time tax hike, commodity price hike, fare hikes have turned lives miserable, whereas businessmen are facing heavy losses due to down market since 5 to 6 months. 

However, the Govt of Tripura has strictly warned its employees to join offices on Monday which falls on Bharat Bandh called by Congress, supported by other parties across nation as a nationwide agitation against fuel price hike.

The BJP led state govt also has warned the employees that strict action will be taken if they violate the order and doesn't come to office, even though it's a national agitation.Along with whole nation, state Congress has called for nation-wide strike on September 10 under ‘Bharat Bandh’. In a press meet Birjit Sinha has announced about the strike on yesterday.
