AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): JUMLA Party Ministers fooled successfully Tripura people to lure their votes via FAKE promises 1 week before Assembly Election on Feb 11.2018 ranging from Free Mobiles for all youths to Jobs for each household. It has been around a month that Ministers are not addressing media after cabinet meetings stayed unanswered about 7th Pay Commission’s delay, whether the report submission time was extended or not. Other issues as massive termination, delay in salaries, pending recruitments are also unsolved and at the same time, no Minister is sitting before media to answer queries left TPSC recruitment to 7th Pay Commission’s implementations in delay. 7th Pay Commission has been delayed for an uncertain period of time and in the drama of ‘Verma Committee’ July month’s DA has been missed. As a result neither DA nor 7th Pay Commission was given to the employees led massive frustration among the Govt employees.

Central Govt employees are protesting even after getting DA for two times recently but here in case of Tripura employees are afraid to raise voice. Cenral Govt employees have protested on the 2 % DA increase, as they had been expecting 9 % DA hike. In the contrary Tripura Govt employees voted BJP in power for 7th pay Commission but now yearly DA yet to be given.

1000 cr for 7th Pay Commission is no more helping the Govt o implement it, neither the State Govt could

In this regard, CPI-M Ex-Minister Badal Choudhury who served as the Finance Minister for long said, “BJP even can’t give 7th pay commission with its deficit free budget. The budget and the Vision Document is opposite to each other”.

Before the election, BJP had promised to implement 7th Pay Commission for the Govt employees and the pensioners in the first cabinet meeting and from month of April they will count the hiked salary but after 6 months Verma Committee failed to submit 7th Pay Commission.

A Govt which could start its beginning with lies in the 1st cabinet meet, what can be expected from it in coming days.

After the first cabinet meeting on March 10, 7th Pay commission for state govt employees had been declared by the newly formed BJP Govt in Tripura with a 'WAIT' and a committee was formed for that. This was the first cabinet meeting of the state BJP Govt after Biplab Deb took charge as the CM of Tripura.

The Chief Minister himself addressed the press after the cabinet meeting. Now CM's own words in the cabinet meeting turned as farce.
