AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): One more daring theft case has hit the capital city on Saturday after hefty of cashes were taken away by thieves from a shop in Paradize Chowmuhani, Agartala. Paradise Chowmuhani is located on the heart of Agartala city, where police security is expected 24X7, but in such a prominent location how thieves can dominate the night hours it’s under big question mark. A section of police’s role under scanner has always been alleged by the masses, whereas thieves are roaming under free sky even after looting in Laxmi Narayan Bari like temples. On the other side, when the Chief Minister is claiming Tripura’s law and order is totally under control, police’s website says a different story. According to Tripura Police’s website total 45 murders, 237 theft cases, 94 violence, 94 attacks upon a group occurred in last 4 months (except July).

On Wednesday night near East Agartala Police Station a woman Payel Das was beaten to death whereas it was alleged that Police witnessed the whole incident. It has been long 13 days that along with Laxmi Narayan Bari, another local’s home was looted but till now, Capital city’s cops have remained clueless to trace the criminals.

Infact every day various theft cases are being lodged in Agartala's Police Stations and above 100 theft incidents are recorded each day across this small state have proven lack of policing, security especially in night hours.

In a daring theft, criminals stolen jewelry from Tripura Royal family's auspicious Laxminarayan Bari Temple located in heart of State Capital. In a continuation of crime spree across State by various criminal gangs, once again DGP A.K. Sukla and Chief Minister Biplab Deb's loud claims of safe law & order turned a joke as thieves are looting temples by showing middle finger to Tripura Police. In Tripura’s history it’s the first time, from temple like Laxmi Narayan Bari, known as the den of devotees have been looted mercilessly. According to the spot information, each and every item of the main temple have been looted including the crowns of Gods, Goddesses.

In other portions as Sabroom, South Tripura Dinesh Day was hospitalized after he was attacked in political violence. In similar way attacks, violence etc are going on, putting the Law and Order before a big question mark again and again.

Three people were killed in lynching, four CPI-M activists were killed along with other murders, shot dead incidents. Capital city's Law & Order during night hours was exposed with Laxmi Narayan Bari theft case, which has met no development.

Along with three lynching, four CPI-M supporters have been killed since the Govt formation : 1) Tapas Sutradhar, 2) Rakesh Dhar, 3) Pradip Deb Barma, 4) Ajendra Reang.

Recently Congress President Birjit Sinha was attacked heavily at Kamalpur, whereas Congress has alleged that it was a plan wise attack.

Everyday bikes are theft, houses are looted even though these were also a part of CPI-M era's day to day activity. However, there is no development such issues whereas lynching, open beating of women has been increased.

Recently one renowned social activist Medha Patkar accused BJP Govt for failure in controlling Law and order.

However, BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik counterattacking Medha Patekar said, "Tripura has total law and order. People have see how is CPI-M's violence.  Medha Patkar was politically influenced while delivering addressing before media in Agartala".
