AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN):10323 Teachers Illegal recruitment was an organized scam created by former Chief Secretary Sanjay Panda, Ex-CM Manik Sarkar, Ex-Education Secretary Banamali Sinha. But now in opposition camp and taking benefit of Biplab Deb’s immaturity, Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar on Sunday has recalled the 12000 non-teaching posts which were created by a committee under the previous CPI-M Govt to save 10323 teachers jobs.

Talking to TIWN, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said, “BJP Govt’s decision to knock Supreme Court is much valid, which was done by the CPI-M Govt too, but the 12000 non-teaching posts which were created by the CPI-M Govt to save the teachers, should be reopened by “withdrawing” the filed case against those posts”, said Bijan Dhar.

Bijan Dhar also accused BJP for filing case in Supreme Court against 12000 non-teaching posts, which were created by the Left Govt to save 10323 teachers.

“They can save 10323 teachers career very easily but they have to withdraw the case filed  against the 12000 non-teaching posts”, Dhar told TIWN.

Tripura CPI-M Govt had created 12000 non-teaching posts to save 10323 teachers jobs. The five categories under which these 12000 (+1000 social welfare dept) posts have been created are :-
1) Academic Counsellor
2) Students Counsellor
3) School Library Assistant
4) Hostel Warden5) School Assistant
All these appointments, if indeed done, will be for performing non-teaching assignments and quite interestingly no where India any such posts exist nor the Union Human Resource Ministry has asked any state govt to recruit in these posts in order to implement the Right To Education Act 2009 properly.

Aase was filed by a deprived unemployed youth Debashish Pal Chowdhury against the Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan who signed the 12000 nonteaching staffs' recruitment. The main controversy came when Tripura Govt asked teaching experience for the non-teaching posts.

Right now 12000 posts validity stayed undecided, as after the case was filed SC asked state govt to stop all recruitments on those posts.

However, CPI-M State Secretary asked BJP to withdraw the case against those posts and save 10323 teachers career.
