AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): BJP has marked a historical winning in Left ruled Tripura ending the 25 years of Communist regime here. After the 3rd round of counting BJP has gripped 41 seats, whereas the Left party is left with 18 seats and the Congress and others are left with zero. Celebrations have started across the state as the activists are playing Holi, sharing sweets and dancing. An initial press conference was called at the BJP HQ in Agartala , where party President Biplab Deb has assured about ‘peace’ to be hold in the coming hours, even though the left are alleging attempts of violence led by the BJP activists. The bike riders of BJP are also in reckless mode, amid heavy securities. A initial Vijay-march was conducted by the BJP led by the party President Biplab Deb, BJP National General secretary Ram Madhab. BJP is leading the Election results of Tripura across 59 constituencies.
However in this news, now only 1st and 2nd round of countings are going on and the reports are changing, but the election results are bound towards BJP. BJP is ahead in maximum constituencies. CPI-M is behind BJP both in Khayerpur and Badharghat constituencies. The candidate of CPI-M at Khayerpur is Pabitra Kar, whereas BJP candidate is Ratan Chakraborty. At Badharghat sitting MLA Dilip Sarkar is leading, whereas Jharna Das is behind.In Ramnagar, Ambassa also BJP is ahead.
Kalyanpur-BJP candidate Pinkai Das Chowdhury is ahead with 1700 votes, Teliamura— BJP candidate Kalyani Roy is ahead with 1000 votes, Krishnapur—CPI-M candidate Khagendra Jamatia is ahead with 200 votes, Bagma ---BJP candidate Rampada Jamatia is ahead, Ramia Valley—CPI-M candidate Lalit Mohon Tripura is ahead, Bishalgarh--CPI-M candidate Bhanulal Saha is ahead.
At Matabari BJP is ahead and CPI-M MLA Madhab Saha is behind than BJP candidate Biplab Ghosh. At Majlishpur also CPI-M is getting defeated.
