AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): As promised, BJP MP Prahlad Singh Patel has successfully raised Tripura's increasing cadre-led murder incidents in the Parliament today. BJP Spokesperson Arun Bhaumik informed media about the discussions held in the parliament today by the BJP MP. Addressing Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Patel said, "Always we talk about Tribal and Dalit people's right but in Tripura the living condition of the tribal people are just horrific. The girls there, have been victimized with rapes and murders and without post- mortem their parents are forced to complete the funerals".With Tripura's name raised, uproars had hit the parliament but Patel kept on saying, "With few such families I have met. One is Priyanka Reang, was a resident of Belonia, second was Supriya Mog was also from Belonia and the third one was Payel Murasing. Priyanka Reang was staying with her sister. At night she went outside after her friend called her and on the next day his parents came to know that she died in an accident. Later it was known from her friend that she went with a young boy but without post-mortem her funeral was given".

"Second case is of Supriya Mog, who was residing in a hostel. I will not mention about the hostel owner's name but when her uncle went to bring her, he was refused to meet her and in the next morning her body was found hanging. Same, no post-mortem was done and later her family was forced to burn her body", said Patel.

"Next is Payel Murasing, a daughter of poor farmer. Recently they joined in BJP and after joining programme when she was returning home, was raped and murdered and the accused is a CPI-M cadre. He admitted that he killed her. Police arrested him but no witness was taken", added Patel.

"These are the three issues I have mentioned but nobody was punished as all of the accused in those murders were CPI-M cadres", said Patel.

The MP also raised BSF officer Dipak Mandal's murder and hit Congress for their silent role.

"In Tripura Congress MLAs were also murdered but if the lawless condition goes like this and without post-mortem the bodies are burnt, where we are heading towards ?", Patel told speaker.
