AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Finally after 70 years of independence Communist ruled Tripura’s Capital City Agartala is getting traffic signals, most likely to cut the daily traffic jam and mess during the office hours.
Earlier in 80’s era during Nripen Chakraborty’s Chief Ministry traffic signal was activated but gradually the service was stopped.
However, since a week trainings and preparations along with announcements on traffic signals are going on across the Capital City.
A special care has been taken by West SP Abhijit Saptarshi and Traffic Dept.
The traffic jam across Agartala City has turned as a daily headache for common goers but with the launching of smart traffic system the situation is likely to get more disciplinary & ordered.
Capital city people are happy and excited with the launching of traffic signals.
