10323 teachers demand action against who mock at 10323 teachers ‘Qualification’ :  Call for full benefit and recognition of their ‘Teaching-Experience’ while appointing them in new jobs

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): When Supreme Court, High Court have said the 10323 teachers were illegally recruited by Tripura Govt, the terminated teachers have demanded new jobs, which will provided must recognize the previous experience of the teachers and recruit them with full benefits The 10323 teachers of Tripura who are all set to be terminated on Dec 31st as per the Supreme Court's order, have once again begged the state govt to look at them from humanitarian angle and to appoint them in alternative jobs within 1st January 2018. A meeting was held among the 10323 teachers at the Town Hall on Saturday and a team of the teachers placed deputation to the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty at the Secretariat.

Their demands are : 1. Those who are going to be terminated on 31st December, state govt should immediately manage alternative jobs for them, 2. To secure the 10323 lives, the state govt must appoint the teachers in other jobs by 2018's 1st January, 3. The new jobs which will provided must recognize the previous experience of the teachers and recruit them with full benefits, 4. The family members who died among 10323 they must be helped financially by the state govt, 5. The teachers who took loans from banks after the Supreme Court's verdict, their loans should be recovered by the state govt, 6. State Govt should give a press release against the badmouthing about 10323 teachers and their insults by mob regarding their qualification, 7. The overaged teachers also must be taken under consideration fully.

However, on October 26,  the 10323 teachers said they do not want 12000 jobs, but they want their teachers jobs to get back. Addressing media the terminated teachers on that day said, "We will not disclose anything but we are trying to find out is there any way to get back our jobs".

"Govt's 12000 posts has nothing to do with us. Let it be run by the Govt. But we will go to SC so that atleast till 2019 our jobs are extended", said a teacher.
