AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): 'Nothing is there so called Central Deprivation', said Congress MLA Ratan lal Nath counterattacking CPI-M's constant allegation of Central Govt's 'step-motherly attitude' with Tripura. "Actually, the term Central deprivation is invalid for Tripura. As per Assembly data, the expenditure of Tripura for the current FY is 15957 crores, means Tripura Govt's every days expenditure is Rs. 43.71 crores. The yearly income of Tripura is 1742 crores. So with an easy sum it reveals that with Tripura Govt's income the state can be run for only 40 days, whether for rest of the days Tripura Govt has to depend upon the Central Govt 100 %". "Paying respect to the federal structure, Central Govt has been allocating funds for Tripura but the corrupt govt here has always used the funds for their personal benefits", said Nath.

"Since 25 years, in the name of Central deprivation, Tripura Govt has been fooling the common people which like to wearing somebody hats (Topi)", added Nath.

Recently, MLA Ratan lal Nath has exposed that amidst boosting about to reach 100 % literacy by the CPI-M Govt, Tripura's Educated people's percentage is stuck at 16 % only. Congress MLA Ratan lal Nath said, "Intentionally a fake educational map of Tripura is shown in hybrid manner whereas the reality is just pathetic. As per the norms, by literacy it's meant only who can sign his / her name. By Educated one should mean atleast Madhyamik and for quality education it must has to go at degree level".

"As per the last Assemble data, the educated people's number is 6,27,555 which is only 16 % of the whole literacy rate. But the matter of concern is SC educated are only 9 % and ST is stuck at 6 %", said Nath.

Nath also claimed that the degree holders numbers are less than 1 %.

"Tripura CPI-M Govt is trying to show the literate people as Educated, who just can write their names. The CPI-Ms know very well that educated people will not vote for CPI-M and that's the reason the Govt has kept the generation from education's scope", Nath added.
