SC's stay-order on 12000 non-teaching staffs' recruitment turns heavy upon Tripura's CPI-M Govt : 10323 teachers protest at Education Office, Secretariat

AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): After SC issued stay order on 12000 non-teaching staffs' recruitment Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty is now arguing by saying, '12000 non teaching posts were never created for 10323 teachers'. At SC also the same argument is going on that the 12000 posts were a separate issue than 10323 teachers' re-appointments. But breaking down all the confusions, now the 10323 teachers have come on protest and met the Education Director U K Chakma about the ongoing case. However, the Education Director has assured the 10323 teachers that state govt has given valid replies of SC's notice about the recruitment. In front of Civil Secretariat also the teachers had agitated showing their resentment with the ongoing uncertainty.

With SC has issues a stay order on 12000 non-teaching staffs' recruitment, mass tension has gripped the 10323 teachers once again. The next hearing of 13,000 teachers has been postponed to Oct-24 at the Supreme Court.   After Supreme Court's asked State Govt to answer within two weeks about illegal steps of violating SC's order  with 10,323 teachers' re-recruitment, Tripura Govt has answered the notice. However, now with State Govt's reply SC to review the case and the next hearing has been finalized on Oct 24. SC has stayed the recruitment of 13000 posts till Oct-24.

 Education Minister Tapan Chakrbaorty said, "We have to wait till Oct-24 and for now the recruitment will not be proceeded". "There was a heavy argument in the court between the petitioner's lawyer and Govt lawyer. Now we have to wait till Oct-24", added Chakraborty. The next hearing of 13,000 teachers has been postponed to Oct-24 at the Supreme Court. Tension has gripped 10,323 teachers as their termination is on Dec-31st.With Supreme Court had asked Tripura Govt to set New Employment Policy by 30th April 2017, Tripura Govt has created recruited new policy but "Only for 13000 posts" with some peculiar eligibility for it had been asked.
