SC's stay order on 12000 posts : CPI-M Govt trying hard to prove '12,000 posts were never created for 10,323 replacements'

AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): With Supreme Court has issued stay order on State Govt's 12000 nonteaching staffs' recruitment, Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said that nothing can be said before Oct-24 (the next hearing date about 12000 posts). However, for now no recruitment will be conducted in 12000 posts, neither any appointment will be distributed for those posts. However, in argument about the 12000 posts, Tripura Govt side lawyer is trying to prove that there is no link among 13000 non-teaching staffs' recruitment and 10,323 teachers; both are separate issues. When everyone knows that for whom 12000 non-teaching posts were created with peculiar criteria of teaching experiences, Tripura Education Minister has challenged, "Can anybody prove these posts we created for 10323 teachers ?"

This comment of the Education Minister proves that the state govt had planwise announced about these invalid posts of 12000 non-teaching staffs, without following the guidelines of NCERT.

But, it has kept its side safe by not verbally announcing that these posts were for 10323 teachers, who will loose their jobs in December. This is nothing but an open lie and looting of unemployed youths futures just to save the 10323 teachers.

However, this has been treated as a political lollypop by the CPI-M simply to defuse the 10323 terminated teachers from taking any legal action against the state govt demanding compensation as Govt knew that it can not save the 12000 posts jobs. But this time the case was filed against the state govt, not against the jobs which may turn dangerous for the Govt in coming days.

Even though Banamali Sinha, the former Education Director has been safe, but this time three IAS Officers have received the notice Sanjeev Ranjan , IAS , Chief Secretary , Govt of Tripura, Sushil Kumar ,IAS , Principal Secretary to the Govt of Tripura, Education Department, Nirmal Adhikari , Addl Secretary to the Govt of Tripura , Education Department(School).

The five categories under which these 12000 (+1000 social welfare dept) posts have been created are :-
1) Academic Counsellor
2) Students Counsellor
3) School Library Assistant
4) Hostel Warden5) School Assistant
All these appointments, if indeed done, will be for performing non-teaching assignments and quite interestingly no where India any such posts exist nor the Union Human Resource Ministry has asked any state govt to recruit in these posts in order to implement the Right To Education Act 2009 properly.

But, the eligibility criteria themselves are invalid as for School Library Assistant state govt specified Graduate degree along with 5 years teaching experience as desired/required qualification. But the fact is that for such post at least Degree or Diploma in Library Science is essential.

For Hostel Warden's post state cabinet set up Graduate Degree along with 5 years teaching experience as required qualification.
