AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Tripura BJP State President Biplab Deb being asked about SIT's liability in proper justice to Santanu murder case said, "Before Sep-20's Santanu murder case, on 23rd Sep a massive clash occurred during IPFT rally at Khumlwng where police officials also injured. Whatever the investigation was done, police should disclose the matters". "Amidst Section-144 Santnau was killed and another driver Jiban Debnath is missing till day and has remained untraced. How police will do justice with Santanu murder case ?", said Biplab Deb.

One police official on August 23rd was injured at Khumlwng at the end of the IPFT rally who is none other than DSP Tarun Debbarma.

SP Abhijit Saptarshi on that time said that strict actions to be taken against the culprits who did this mischievous act at Khumlwng.

As per the report of police in the evening at Khumlwng, nearby the stadium some IPFT supporters had brutally attacked DSP Tarun Debbarma led him seriously injured. Right now he is admitted in GB Hospital. All high police officials are visiting at GB to see him as doctors have declared him as critical. IPFT had kicked off the bare body rally at Khumlwng on their Tipraland Day and a massive rally was conducted at Khumlwng in demand of a separate land called Tipraland only for tribals.

But till day what actually happened there, nobody knows and police is also utter silent.

Either 23rd August 2016's Agartala violence or 2017's Khumlwng violence but actions have been very less so far. BJP state president Biplab Deb, citing example of such incidents clearly said, "In Santanu murder case CBI investigation is must as police till day has failed to resolve any case".

"Let police handle August-23rd issues, and CBI to take care of Santanu murder case", said Deb.
