AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Tripura's increasing price hike day by day is hitting the consumers fueled by the state govt's silence over the issue.

The ugliest reason that the shop-keepers show behind price hike is GST, which has no relation indeed. However, Tripura's price hike due to GST is totally illegal as the number of taxes have been reduced, which the businessmen earlier use to give in various check posts.

Tripura businessmen earlier had to give taxes in various places like in Guwahati, in Churaibari----like that; but now they are giving only 1 time and equal taxes.

But every items prices have been increased in the state under the full observation of the state govt. In reason some ruling party members also attempt to say that due to GST prices have been increased which is a total lie.

However, Tripura Govt was one of the topmost state govt to implement GST in the state but now when in the name of GST, businessmen are illegally levying extra charges, the same Govt is utter silent.
