AMARPUR, Sep 18 (TIWN): Deplorable shape of Korbook subdivision located Tirthamukh Primary Health center is raising doubt on the much claimed model state’s validness.

In 1979 the hospital was established immediately after the Tirthamukh hydro plant was set at there.

At the beginning the service of the mentioned health centre facilitated the common people but with the increasing terrorism on that time, health dept employees started to avoid going there.

But even after 2 decades of terrorism problem's ending, no action till day has been taken to redevelop the hospital.

Eventhough staffs are signing the attendance register but hardly one day per month they are coming to the hospital.

One night guard is there who in the morning who opens the gate and the evening he closes it.

This condition has left the local people of Korbook deprived of basic health facilities. Demand has raised to restart the health service properly at there.
