AGARTALA, Sep 17 (TIWN): The report published on party-donation collection from MRNREGA workers' has proven as true as similar allegations came from various other parts of the state at different amounts.

The incident occurred at Korbook when CPI-M cadres were collecting party donations from MGNREGA workers when Durga puja is knocking the doors.

At schools also TGTA teachers are taking by force Rs. 60 in the name of Newspapers per month, whereas no paper is published at all.

It was at Poang Bari Village Committee's MGNREGA workers payment day. The poor people became happy to get their daily labour's payments but before they come out of the office, already cadres were present to collect donation from them.

If any MGNREGA worker was denying to give the amount they were being threatened.

When reporters getting informed rushed to the spot their cameras had been snatched and the cadres also attacked upon them.

Not only this, after working 17 days long the poor people got 300 rupees in hands and the cadres snatched 200 out of that.
