AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Narendra Modi, Amit Shah led national BJP’s leadership no comparison for Tripura State’s lameduck BJP leadership which still busy in childish bickerings rather than breaking CPI-M’s backbone on key issues. State BJP’s Sunil Deodhar, Biplab Deb not only failed to nail Manik Sarkar Govt by strong CBI investigations into various Chit Fund and Central Funds scams, also BJP leadership failed to stop CPI-M’s fake vote bank politics as CPI-M successfully enrolled over 10 to 20% fake voters in each of sixty MLA seats to swing election results in its favour. Tripura voters witnessing the fact that BJP’s Union Home Ministry and CBI failed to arrest a single CPI-M Minister or even scratch Manik Sarkar’s Govt other than daily mouthful of attacks which has no affect on CPI-M’s votebank.Tripura BJP’s one after another political missteps only signaling that immature newcomer Biplab Deb or outsider Sunil Deodhar are no match for cunning Manik Sarkar led State CPI-M party’s manipulated corruption with electoral rolls.

State BJP’s suicidal steps like admitting tainted Sudip Barman & Co into State BJP not only dented its clean image, also publishing books against Manik Sarkar in Maharastra in Marathi language rather than publishing in Bengali in Tripura only establish political immaturity.

Not only failure in conducting successful CBI investigations against CPI-M but failure in engaging Election Commission to weed out 10 to 20% fake voters from electoral lists are seen as State BJP’s political immaturity.

After unsuccessful ventures in Meghalaya to establish BJP, Suni Deodhar led RSS functionaries living in fools paradise that Prime Minister Modi’s multiple visits or barrage of Central Ministers visit        before Tripura elections would be able to wipe off CPI-M from power.

Modi visited Tripura multiple time before 2014 Lok Sabha and Tripura Assembly elections, even filled Astabal Ground (Vivekananda Maidan) beyond capacity but did BJP secure a single MLA seat        or make inroads in lastly held ADC elections ?

If BJP fails to defeat CPI-M in Feb 2018’s Assembly Poll, rather than corrupt CPI-M, BJP’s State leadership’s political immaturity will remain as the main reason in State’s Political history.

Voting percentage in Tripura varies from the lowest of 86.78% in the city to the highest of 96.46% in the rural constituencies. Only four out of sixty constituencies recorded less than 90% votes. This, when an average of 9% voters are false, and the winning margin less than 3000 in 61.66% constituencies, signifies the lack of authenticity of the elections in Tripura. However, rather than raising a serious doubt in the minds of the authorities regarding figures which are clear statistical outliers , the authorities choose to reward the state election officials.

That at this moment it is physically impossible for the opposition parties to utilize the existing system to get the false names deleted without the active co-operation of the Election Commission. For example, even if the BLA (Booth Level Agent) knows that a certain person is dead or away, how does he collect proof? The onus of proof depends on the BLA and the BLA has to depend on the openly biased government officials, for proof. He would forfeit all government economic assistance that is available in a village. All these systems work only when the administration is by and large neutral, not in a state like Tripura where every official is a committed official.

An election with this Electoral Roll would be detrimental to democracy and the will of the people of the state of Tripura would be suppressed again.

The Election Commission should use EVM with VVPAT in Tripura. That’ll allay the fear in the minds of people that EVMs are manipulated.

The Presiding officers and Micro observers of all the booths from other states. This is the most important step and most essential for free and fair elections in this state. There is ample time and preparation can start from now.

It is important to relate this finding with the electoral history of 20 Boxanagar Constituency.

With this I am adding the voting percentage of all 60 constituencies. It is obvious that the average voting  percentage of 91.2%, is much higher than any other state in India. An average false vote of 3000 + in any booth would pave way for 37/60 seats to a party. The CPIM has been using this technique and none have been able to break this jinx. The results of 2013 Assembly Elections are given below. Belying all expectations of the people, CPIM won 50/60 seats, though the opposition got 46% of the votes polled. CPIM managed 51%.
