Unprecedented river flooding chances increasing across northeastern India : Weather Dept

AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Heavy rain has once again targeted northeastern India, forcing the evacuations of more than 13,000 people and threatening to trigger unprecedented river flooding.
Already various parts of the state Tripura are flooding and there is no improvement of Indo-Bangla border’s water level.
The Bangladesh side also has kept under heavy flood alerts whereas the Northeast Tripura is hitting with chest level water.
Especially Tripura with Bangladesh border lined with Brahmanbaria area is the worst sufferer due to the rain.
