AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Barman family's 3 decades of exceptional service to Manik Sarkar caused decimation of every political party in Tripura as Samir Barman, Sudip Barman acted as CPI-M agents with sole mission to destroy opposition parties. Samir Ranjan Barman weakened Congress via infighting after Sudhir Ranjan Majumdar led Congress won Assembly elections in 1989, sane his son Sudip Barman did to Mamata's TMC in 2017 so that CPI-M gets maximum political mileage. When Trinamool in Tripura is struggling for existence and Mamata Banerjee dispatched Sabyasachi Dutta in a fresh move to rebuild Trinamool Congress replacing Mukul Roy but Asish Saha, Sudip Barman and other Trinamool MLAs have backstabbed Mamata by undertaking much awaited meeting with Amit Shah, the BJP National President at New Delhi. Tripura BJP top brass Sunil Deodhar, Biplab Deb remained present in the meeting, whereas TMC youth leader cum Sudip’s ‘chamcha’ Sushanta Chowdhury also seen in a photo-op with BJP leaders.

Sarada Chit Fund scam tainted former Assam Congress leader cum present BJP Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who was cornered by CBI before he switched loyalities to BJP was main interlocutor behind Sudip Barman & Co’s entry in BJP. Former Assam Congress Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s right hand man Assam DGP Sankar Barua, who was chargesheeted by CBI in Saradha scam probe, had committed suicide. Guwahati-based noted singer and filmmaker Sadananda Gogoi, who is said to be close to both Barua and Sarma, on the other hand is still in jail after Gogoi was arrested by the CBI in 2014.

Assam BJP Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma also accompanied the Tripura BJP leaders and if everything falls on right track the joining programme to be conducted on Monday. While addressing media, State BJP President Biplab Deb on Friday evening said that the joining is not a complex issue. If people blindly support a single political party for rest of the life then development can never come.

 "All the former Congress, TMC leaders as Subol Bhowmik, Surajit Dutta, Ratan Chakraborty know what kind of party is BJP. They all now love the party", said Deb.

However, Hemanta Biswa Sarma's presence in the meeting with Amit Saha is much relevant as he was the first leader who asked the MLAs via media to prove that they actually love BJP by voting for NDA presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind. Going beyond the expectation, the MLAs  voted for Kovind.

Later Sunil Deodhar, the state observer thanked the MLAs for voting for Ramnath Kovind.  On the other side, earlier Congress and now Trinamool have almost been collapsed in Tripura with the MLAs joining in Bharatiya Janata Party.

However on Aug-7 the leaders will join BJP in the presence of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Kr. Pradhan and other BJP leaders, in front of Rabindra Bhawan followed by a massive rally at Astabol ground.

Sudip Barman's entry into BJP is a well planned gameplan by Manik Sarkar to instigate massive infighting inside State BJP prior to 2018 Assembly Election. .

Going by over 3 decades of Barman family's extra-ordinary allegiance for Manik Sarkar to benefit CPI-M politically, its needless to say that BJP likely to bite dust in 2018 Assembly election.
