AGARATLA, Aug 5 (TIWN): West Bengal Trinamool leader Sabyasachi Dutta in a fresh move to strengthen Tripura Trinamool has arrived here for the first time after he was positioned as the 'State Observer' of Tripura, suspending Mukul Roy. Sabyasachi Dutta has arrived at Agartala Airport on Saturday morning, when former Trinamool leaders are joining in rival Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday amid a massive celebration programme organized at Agartala. After arriving at Agartala Airport, Sabyasachi Dutta immediately went to Gitanjali State Guest House, where he is scheduled to meet the state Trinamool leaders. Addressing the media at Agartala Airport, Sabyasachi Dutta said, "As the actual opposition of CPI-M, it's only Trinamool Congress, which can stand before Communist Party and Mamata Banerjee is the actual rival of CPI-M that kicked out CPI-M from West Bengal". A two day long meeting has been started from 11 AM to 7 PM that would be continued till Sunday.

Tripura Ex-Trinamool leaders as Sudip Barman and other leaders when leaving Trinamool said, "Due to Mamata Banerjee's closeness with CPI-M at West Bengal for her political gain in her state has devastated Trinamool in Tripura. From demonetization to Presidential Election, everywhere Mamata Banerjee walking together with CPI-M. In this condition, trust of Tripura's people on Trinamool has been lost and the last bi-election is a proof of it".

‘Why did you change your stand to wipe out tooth and nail of CPI-M’?, Tripura former Trinamool leader Sudip Barman told Mamata Banerjee via this press conference.

On the other side, the Trinamool at West Bengal on July 2 cutting relation with Trpiura MLAs, seeing their closeness with BJP under Mukul Roy's observation had shifted Mukul Roy from the duty as the State Observer of Trinamool and handed over Tripura Trinamool party on Sabyasachi Dutta's hands.

On July 11 after Panna Deb along with leaders as Biplab Kar, Dulal Das who didn't leave Trinamool, holding a meeting announced, "TMC has not died in Tripura". The fundless TMC members however, managed to hold a meeting at Battala Joyram Hotel, confirming to go with Mamata Banerjee’s ideology and fight for TMC in coming days on that day. Addressing the meeting, Biplab Kar said,”One party’s garbage is going to other parties with the 6 MLAs group. Congress’s garbage came in Trinamool, now Trinamool’s garbage are going to BJP”. 

However, it's to be seen how far Sabyasachi Dutta can strengthen Tripura Trinamool in coming days, when only 6 months left for the assembly election.
