Sudden Petrol crisis hits consumers hard in Tripura : 'No Petrol' sign everywhere, customers fuming

AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): A sudden petrol crisis is hitting the customers hard on Friday here in the Capital City Agartala. The unannounced crisis have been also reported from other subdivisions. The cause of the crisis situation yet to be identified as the petrol pump workers are not saying anything regarding the reason behind the crisis. However, due to one day of Eid-Holiday and Rath-Yatra this crisis may have emerged, alleged a section of pump workers eventhough Eid and Rath Yatra have completed long before. The crisis situation was observed since Thursday afternoon however, but customers could not guess about the sudden crisis of fuel like this led them to stand behind Durga Bari petrol pump since the morning.The issue turned more critical when Durga Bari Petrol pump fuel stock was ended at 11 AM caused a huge resentment among the common people. As a part of reaction, the pump workers at Durga Bari said, 'What can we do if the stock is over.

Other petrol pumps of Agartala have already hanged 'No Petrol' Sign since the morning. With this crisis, public are afraid about the upcoming situation of Tripura since July 10 when IPFT to begin its National Highway and Railway blockade for an uncertain period of time.

The fuel crisis situation threat always haunts Tripura people as state had suffered for long 2/ 3 months and yet to come out of that trauma of petrol-crisis that led public to wait for fuel day-night.
