UDAIPUR, July 23(TIWN): More than 45 persons today appeared before the Mass Hearing Commission led by DM Gomati Sonal Goel, SDM Udaipur Ajit Debnath and DCM Sabyasachi Sinha on 19th July incident raising their utter discontent and hatred against the atrocities of police led by Officer In Charge of Radhakishorepur Police Station Kanti Lal Baidya and his loyal deputies. Today DM Gomati arranged a mass hearing on 19th July incident with a purpose of identifying the real culprit who killed three persons namely Laxmi Saha, Gouri Saha and Debasish Deb (Bapi) at around 4.20am when he was driving the killer jeep TR93-0986 vehicle. But DM was surprised to get tremendous amount of response that can be treated as hatred against police's role in this incident.

 At 4pm on Wednesday the mass hearing began in the Conference Room of DM Gomati's office that continued up to 8.30pm.

     It is to be mentioned that police resorted to violence against the agitated people using lathis bricks and even back of guns on 19th July when all efforts to control the gathering of people around 400 turned to mob. Incidentally neither DM Gomati Sonal Goal, SDM Udaipur Ajit Debnath nor DCM Sabyasachi Sinha gave the order of lathi charge(as is the rule). SDM only ordered to fire Tear Gas Cell but the O C Radhakishorepur Police Station himself was seen beating the common mass including school children and women with lat his and that too with a pure intention barbarism. It is really shocking that police charged lathis twice at 9 am and 10.15am but each time some police personnels including traffic police official (those who are not even posted in Radahakishorepur Police Station) namely Sibu Majumder was seen to attack on the people ruthlessly. At night it is learnt that tomorrow DM Gomati will ask some persons to give their independent statement on this incident.

    Meanwhile rumours are still on about who drove that killer vehicle . Many people still complain that ASI Tapan Das was driving the vehicle in drunken condition. Even it is learnt from a top level police official that ASI Tapan Das has been hiding from the time the accident occurred and this indeed raised several questions as Dilip Debbarma is present( now in jail custody) in the station. Today 45 persons records their statement including victims' families, relatives, neighbours, businessmen and some students. But inspire of concentrating on accident they are more concentrating on police atrocities.

     Speaking to the press in her office DM Gomati Sonal Goal said," Investigation is still on. I have already called in the victims' families in my office and I met injured Ajit Das as well. I myself visited the victims' houses. Hopefully we will able to complete the on going investigation by Tuesday next. " DM also said that she has a personal interrection with Ajit Das, an injured admitted as  ILS Agt.
