AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Protest roars are hitting Agartala City as amidst 4th day of hunger strike led by unemployed youths at North Gate which left 2 youths seriously ill, more 1000 of BJP protesters have sat in mass demonstration at Orient Chowmuhani demanding CM Manik Sarkar's resignation as a part of reaction to 10,323 teachers' recruitment scandal and other state issues. BJP claimed that they will continue their protest day and night, till Chief Minister Manik Sarkar resigns from his post. Addressing the mass gathering at Orient Chowmuhani BJP State President Biplab Deb left message for CM Manik Sarkar, "Before the ending of tenure, please resign from your respective post, otherwise, it will be hard for you to manage the mass anger in coming days". "Tripura has recorded with 1st position in crime against women; in unemployment also state has achieved the first position. Chief Minister, who is also chaired as the Home Minister has failed to deduct crime against women & in depriving the unemployed youths the Govt is number one position", added Deb. BJP President also claimed that the protest will continue till Manik Sarkar resigns from his post. After Govt lost in 10,323 case, all the opposition parties sought Tripura CM Manik Sarkar's resignation from Chief Minister's position.

However, till day CM has not given any statement replying oppositions' demand of his resignation. Whereas other parties bunt CM's effigy demanding his resignation BJP has decided to go for demonstration for an uncertain period of time since Tuesday, till Manik Sarkar resigns.

BJP State President on the background of the press conference in a press meet said, "8 lakhs of unemployed youths are today CPI-M's wrong policy's victim whereas 1.5 lakhs Govt employees have shown a lollypop of Rs. 600 crores employment budget. 10,323 teachers have lost their jobs and CM is utter silent and his party leaders through various press releases are spreading rumours, doing badmouthing of opposition and truth-tellers, whereas everyone knows a political party can not give any job but the central guidelines of recruitment policy is important to follow. But instead accepting the truth CPI-M is insulting the Supreme Court which is quite anti-constitutional activity".

On April-7 BJP Mohila Morcha conducted a Mahakaran Abhiyan, whereas on 10th April OBC Morcha staged demonstrations district-wise.

It's worthy to mention here that Following 10,323 teacher's case's hearing at Supreme Court TMC MLA Sudip Barman had demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on March-29 on the day of verdict. Opposition Trinamool leader Sudip Barman had also called all the young boys and girls in state Tripura to 'boycott CPI-M' after its long regime of 24 years. Another Trinamool MLA Asish Saha said, ‘If any shame left, sacrifice lust for CM’s throne and take rest’. State BJP after 10,323 case’s verdict at SC, as its immediate reaction demanded Tripura Education cum Law Minister Tapan Chakraborty and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s resign from their respective posts. Demanding Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's resignation, after state's 10,323 teachers' lost their jobs at SC Tripura Pradesh Congress held a press meet on Thursday. But CM has not faced media till day.

Tripura Govt lost the illegally appointed 10,323 teachers case on Wednesday at the Supreme Court. Supreme Court ordered for further TET Examination within 31st December, 2017 for all the teachers who lost their jobs.
