AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): Eventhough the ruling Govt is determined to develop ADC since 80’s era, but these ADC areas till day suffering from acute water scarcity due to some unknown reason.

Since decades, the common people at No. 1 ward of Golokpur village at Kailashahar are suffering heavily due to insufficient drinking water arrangements, forcing the villagers to drink water from well.

One and only ring well has left damaged since years and also it has been dried up to 90 %. One new ring well is being constructed near a “lunga” (natural water body area) beside an Anganwadi Centre. But around 50/ 60 meter of soil are digging to reach the water level, creating much tension regarding the condition in dry spell.

Reportedly, the Golokpur area is fully CPI-M dominated area and the opposition parties yet to reach there, resulting the Panchayat workers dominance over all.

In this condition, the miseries of common people have no end.
